Hi, the NXT Dispense team has been notified of this issue and it will be fixed in a future Dispense release

"Defer in" eScripts, particularly for DAA and ACF patients.
We are now receiving many emailed eScript tokens for DAA and ACF patients for scripts that are for future use. At the moment, the only way to identify who a patient [and hence what needs to be done with the script] is to process the token into Flow [half the computer work is now done]. It would be good to now "dispense" the script into FRED but defer it and produce the appropriate deferred repeat form [presumably with a new token?]. Other systems that may "interrogate" FRED data [eg DAA programmes, MedAdvisor, PlusOne] would also know that a script exists…

scan e-script into dispense system and flow pops up with script details
scan e-script into dispense system and flow pops up with script details - would save time flicking between 2 programs
5 votesThank you for your idea. There will be a new feature called embedded ePrescriptions in Fred Dispense and Fred NXT Dispense to cater for this workflow. This will become available in March

Image and data to Paperless claim
Currently the claim numbers in paperless which link the FRED claim data to the images and QR codes you have scanned for the paperless claim, do NOT include the (ironically) paperless scripts. This makes a lot of "missing" scripts that have to be manually searched for and reconciled - defeating the purpose of the paperless claim. This would also at least give us an image of the script as well if it stored the image there.

Ability to submit orders to Pharmacy using MedView Flow via a Patient app
My patients use various apps to manage their scripts, would be good if they can use those apps to order their scripts at my pharmacy so they can do this from home
