"Defer in" eScripts, particularly for DAA and ACF patients.
We are now receiving many emailed eScript tokens for DAA and ACF patients for scripts that are for future use. At the moment, the only way to identify who a patient [and hence what needs to be done with the script] is to process the token into Flow [half the computer work is now done]. It would be good to now "dispense" the script into FRED but defer it and produce the appropriate deferred repeat form [presumably with a new token?]. Other systems that may "interrogate" FRED data [eg DAA programmes, MedAdvisor, PlusOne] would also know that a script exists for that drug streamlining those processes as well
Thanks for your feedback, we are pleased to inform you that this feature has been released with the February Fred Dispense and Fred Connect Updates.

Hi Tamia,
May we please have an update on this your last comment was December 15 2020. Deferred scripts can be done in other dispense programs (e.g. Minfos). Our pharmacy currently has over 100 items sitting in the queue for DAA and RACF patients and situation is well and truly unworkable.
