Ability to enter Pharmacist initials when marking a script as checked
When I've finished checking a basket in Flow, I want to enter my initials so that there's a record I've checked it

Great news! This has been released. Please view our release notes for more information

Thanks Tamia!
What about having a section for:
1. Who took in the prescription (initials)
2. Who dispensed the prescription (dispensing initials)? So we can track who took it in if we have a query and who dispensed it (when it is not the pharmacist). With our current systems there is no way of tracking the technician who dispensed it due to myHR requirements.
Could this same function be added for the above?

Subject: Medview Flow - dispensing/checking initials and completed scriptsHi Dinesh,
As per our conversation please forward on to Adam and the team in regards to:
• Initials for dispensing/checking
• Looking up completed scriptsWhen using Medview Flow the technician/pharmacist can mark the script as dispensed but there is no section for initials. We can get around this by adding them into the comments but it is not ideal. Additionally the same goes for checking. Scripts are required to be dispensed under the pharmacist initials (not the tech as only pharmacist can upload data to My Health Record), therefore unless pharmacists initial every box/claim label and repeat we cannot be certain who actually checked the script or if in fact the pharmacist initials matched who checked it. When we go to paperless this will be even more important. There has been recent reports about pharmacists editing initials in the system and it is advised that we should be signing at all points to protect ourselves.
The last component is being able to go back and look up completed scripts. At the moment they vanish after being completed. But we will need access to look them up in case of a discrepancy etc.
We would love to hear how you can address this issue.
Kind Regards,
Susan Randall (B.Pharm, MPS)

Susan from UFS is suggesting that we add this to both dispensing & checking. This is what she had to say. This is now more important than ever as to upload to myHR we must do this under a pharmacist initials aligned to a HPI-I number, therefore there is no way and tracking who dispensed it or checked it unless be manually sign the scripts/boxes but this would allow for us to know this information electronically.
