S8 Medications - Repeats not automatically being sent

S8 medications with repeats are still automatically sending repeats out to the patient. By law these are required to be retained in the pharmacy in multiple states

Please select the Paper token option in Dispense before finalising these scripts to make ensure that the script is not issued as an electronic token to the Patient. For further information seek clarification from your local jurisdiction

    For S8+ drugs , the token doesn't show the prescriber's current State authority starting with CNSxxxxx or S28c xxxxxxx or Ref No xxxxxxx. how doctors can incorporate the number in the token. doctors don't know. In NSW

    Not in Victoria, and might want to check the state legislation in your state as new laws have been enacted to accommodate digital scripts in most jurisdictions.
